Sunday Stamps Challenge

I decided to follow along with the Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge this week (http://sundaystamps.blogspot.ca/).  I didn't have anyone in mind when I made this card, but I knew that I wanted to use the Patio Party DSP as well as my Fun Flowers Bigz L die for my big shot.  Here's the result:

What I really love about this particular DSP is that because it is quite busy, when you use it as your background, I don't think you need to add much more to the card!

Thank you card

I was trying to work out of my usual style in this card because purple isn't generally a colour I think to go to.  But I won a prize recently at an event and it was wrapped with the scalloped ribbon, so I wanted to incorporate this into my card.  I got the sketch for this card from Pals Paper Arts (http://www.palspaperarts.com/).  The recipe is below!

** I used my circle cutter to cut out the circles, but I have decided to order the Big Shot Originals 3 1/2" and 3" circle dies (121811 and 122125) for these types of projects in future!
